Dr. Rami Seth, surgeon, consultant urologist, OBE and a gifted guest speaker, will entertain
Radcliffe U3A members with his personal take on the idiosyncrasies of the English Language.
Awarded the British Asian Doctor of Eminence Award in 2003 and a frequent speaker across several oceans as a cruise ship guest lecturer, Dr.Rami will reveal the difficulties for a foreigner who wants to learn our language.
The impossibility of pronunciations and the many pitfalls revealed are based on his personal experiences, and will certainly raise a smile.
His talk will also also include the origins of English and its foreign influences; from Goths to Vikings, Romans and more …
