The Main Hall is a delightfully spacious room, full of natural daylight, with large windows overlooking the landscaped grounds. The room has been acoustically designed to provide excellent sound quality for productions, which might include theatrical performances, live bands, and presentations. In addition, the specially designed ‘sprung’ timber floor makes this room ideal for functions which may include dancing. Indeed, the Main Hall is perfect for a special social event, such as a wedding reception or dinner & dance.

• Capacity 240 - Seated - 'theatre style' (lectures, conferences, theatrical performances etc)

• Capacity 150 - Seated Reception - seated at round tables (wedding receptions, dinners, training workshops etc).

• Special arrangements can be made to accommodate 200 seated with top table and long tables

NB. The kitchen is accessed from the Main Hall, and a large hatch facilitates the serving of refreshments if required.

A raised staging area is provided 9.75m by 6m (32' by 20'), along with a professional lighting system.

Behind the stage, are two good sized changing rooms 5.6m by 3.25m (18' by 10'6") equipped with washbasins and toilets.

Sound system is available for both Main Hall and Trent Room - either in total or separately

A smaller room, suitable for meetings or small social occasions is also available. This room has plenty of natural daylight, with access to the bar area. The Small Function Room can be partitioned off from the main Foyer area.

When the Trent Room is not in use, the partitioning wall can be removed so that the bar will open directly into the large Reception Foyer. 

Grange Hall offers a superb, large fully fitted kitchen which has been thoughtfully designed by professionals to meet the needs of the caterer.  Fixtures include:-

• food hot cupboards,

• large stainless steel oven

• 6 burner hob

• fridge-freezer

• 3 minute cycle quick wash dishwasher. 

• ample work surface for both food preparation and storage.

For those who do not wish to provide their own cutlery, china and linens, it is possible to hire from Grange Hall by prior arrangement. However, if you have specific requirements, you may choose to provide your own.

The building is equipped with a bar area opening into the Trent Room. 

As with the kitchen, the needs of those providing a bar service have been taken into consideration, the bar area is equipped with:-

• an automatic glass washer

• chiller units

• storage area

• location points for barrels. 

Grange Hall provides excellent access for the physically disabled. The building is on one level and unless using the stage, does not present users with any steps. Disabled toilet facilities are located in the foyer and also backstage.

NEW - Grange Hall has a hearing aid loop system

Grange Hall is accessible by public transport. There is a bus stop on the main road next to the hall. For those travelling by car there are some car parking spaces within a short walk of the hall.

Additionally, Grange Hall is easily located in the centre of Radcliffe on Trent, just 6 miles from Nottingham City Centre and minutes from both the A46 and A52 and offers limited nearby car parking.
